Mercury Hip Hop Squad Auditions

I was Dancer #53 :)

On April 9th, Mercury Basketball Hip-Hop Squad held Auditions to be in this years hip-hop squad. The perform at the home games and other events like that. Me and the Handled Gang (Myresha, Payton, Shay, Maya, Eboni, Jerica, Ana) all went to the auditions. Over 64 dancers came out that night, and for the next 3 hours, we learned a dance, then performed it in groups of four in order by our number.

The whole experience was such a blast! I was rockin my "I JUST CAME HERE TO DANCE" tee. When I was performing for the judges, the dancers watching went crazy at some of my freestyle parts :)

They're were a lot of really talented dancers but they told us of the 64+ dancers auditioning tonight, only 24 Will be selected to come back for a 2nd round of auditions, where they will pick the 12 to be on the squad for 2012.

Around Midnight, we were told to call this hotline number, and form that we will know if we made it to the 2nd auditions. I called it, and I MADE IT!!! Along with Myresha, Payton, Shay & Maya!!

Going to be at the 2nd auditions, which you all are aloud to come and watch! More info on that later this week!
