I was Dancer #53 :) On April 9th, Mercury Basketball Hip-Hop Squad held Auditions to be in this years hip-hop squad. The perform at the home games and other events like that. Me and the Handled Gang (Myresha, Payton, Shay, Maya, Eboni, Jerica, Ana) all went to the auditions. Over 64 dancers came out that night, and for the next 3 hours, we learned a dance, then performed it in groups of four in order by our number. The whole experience was such a blast! I was rockin my "I JUST CAME HERE TO DANCE" tee. When I was performing for the judges, the dancers watching went crazy at some of my freestyle parts :) They're were a lot of really talented dancers but they told us of the 64+ dancers auditioning tonight, only 24 Will be selected to come back for a 2nd round of auditions, where they will pick the 12 to be on the squad for 2012. Around Midnight, we were told to call this hotline number, and form that we will know if we made it to the 2nd auditions. I called it, and...

The 9 Members of Handled :) As of like a Week ago, I've just joined my friends dance crew, "Handled"! Myresha teaches at JuiceBox and she told me how the crew watched my videos and would love to have me on their crew. After I went to there practice I just HAD to say Yes! They go so hard, they're all very talented & passionate dancers. Were a Hip-Hop Crew, but we Like to call us al Family, or 'Fam.' And Its common practice to add 'Bam' when you say 'Fam', so... yeah! haha. My Hip-Hop Piece I choreographed and performed with Performance Dance last year. Can't believe I haven't posted this till now, I got about 5 more performances that I was in that will will post in the next few weeks, so look forward to that :).

Just having some fun with this one, this is my Level Up Dance class that I teach mondays & fridays at 6pm! Shout out to Janeth for being an awesome student :)
